WorkSafeBC Coverage for Acupuncture

If you have been injured at work and your claim has been accepted by WorkSafeBC you are automatically pre-approved for eight 45 minute acupuncture treatments in the 8 weeks following your accident. If additional treatments are required we can work with your case manager and request additional sessions.

If more than 8 weeks has passed since your injury you will need to get approval from your case manager prior to starting treatment.

At this time, not all of our providers are set-up to directly bill WorkSafeBC and you may be required to pay upfront and submit the receipts to your case manager for reimbursement.
